Hello my name is Ashley; welcome to my web page AshleyASingleMom.hubpages.com. I became a single mother when my boyfriend died in a car accident at the young at of 21 years old. Being twenty-one, myself I was only nine months pregnant with our first child. On the day of his funeral I gave birth to our daughter. Determined to have a better life I was able to complete my bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Phoenix. I didn’t do all of this on my own. My family has been there when I have needed them most.

Years after the car accident I have settled and healed I have seen a community of single parents not being able to connect on the web, there are articles targeting married couples. We dream of having a “complete home,” but unfortunate our fairy tale story has yet to come true. In the meantime a community of support is what is needed.
